Lansdowne Crescent Primary School – developing skills for building inclusivity.

We had an amazing time visiting the year 5/6 students at Lansdowne Crescent Primary School! It was such a pleasure to share stories and discuss how to develop inclusion skills.

This year, we made some exciting improvements to our Inclusion Forums. We introduced circles and incorporated fun activities that allowed students to understand the real-life consequences of exclusion. We also provided practical tips to create a more inclusive environment within the school.

A big thank you to our incredible ‘books’ John, Donna, Vaughn, and David for speaking to the students. We are also grateful to the teachers for inviting us and making this visit possible. Lastly, we would like to express our gratitude to the Department for Education, Children and Young People for providing the subsidy that enables A Fairer World to visit schools throughout the state.
